Privacy policy

Hour is made by Feynman OÜ, a company registered in Estonia. This page says what we collect when you use usehour.com, why, where it goes, and how to have it removed. If anything here is unclear, write to us.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list we collect your email address. If you answer the optional question after signing up, we also collect the department you are hiring for.

When you email us, we keep the email and whatever you put in it.

Our hosting provider records the usual server logs, including your IP address and the pages you request. We do not run analytics scripts, set cookies, or store anything in your browser.

Why we collect it

We use your email address to confirm that you are on the waiting list and to tell you when we are ready to invite your team. We use the department answer to understand who is waiting. We do not sell or rent your address, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who handles it

Three companies process data on our behalf, each only to do the job named:

• Netlify hosts the site and stores form submissions.
• Resend sends the confirmation email.
• Google Workspace holds our mailbox.

These providers may store data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until the waiting list is closed or you ask us to remove it, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period and then discarded.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email us from the address you signed up with. We will answer within a month. You also have the right to complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.

Candidates

Hour will record one hour of a candidate's work with AI tools and share that recording with the employer who invited them. That product is not yet open. When it is, this page will say exactly what is recorded, who can see it, and for how long, and no candidate will be recorded without being told first.

Changes

If we change this page we will update the date at the top. If the change affects what we do with your address, we will email you first.
